Mike Clarke was still at school when he began his career in the field of video game audio. He mainly composed music for Psygnosis games, and also had programming skills, including for music players. He used those back in the Psygnosis days, but now concentrate exclusively on this aspect while working for the 3D audio technology company "Sensaura". Mike didn't disappear from the industry like other composers did, yet he doesn't seem to write game music anymore.

• His music tastes are various, although he dislikes soppy ballads.
• Mike is a member of the UK band "From Within", along with Dave Parkinson whom he has known since he was 3 years old. The band was formed in 1995. He plays the keyboard, produces and sings, while Dave plays the guitar and does some backing vocals. Mike can play the guitar as well.
