Liner Notes

MUSIC

From the first time Frank saw Command & Conquer, he was inspired to compose music as exciting and exhilarating as the game. The atmosphere he created combines an alternative edge with an industrial flair. The result is a fresh and unusual soundtrack - something completely new and never before part of a computer game.

MUSICIAN

Frank Klepacki is the visionary behind the soundtrack of Command & Conquer. "C&C was so cool because it game me the chance to create a diverse range of music, drawing from the many different styles of music I like," says Frank. "This soundtrack enabled me to push the limits of the extensive audio equipment at Westwood and break new ground in the computer game industry. It's definitely not like anything I have ever done before."

Frank is now 22, and when he is not making music for Westwood, he can be found at various nightclubs in Las Vegas jamming with local bands. Everyone at Westwood knows that when the walls start to shake and the windows begin to rattle, there is going to be another masterpiece coming from Frank Klepacki.
