Richard Beddow offers a wide range of audio services for video games, television, and films through audiodesigner.co.uk He entered the music industry in 1998 handling composition, sound effects, and sound design for video games by Criterion Studios and Small Rockets. He instantly demonstrated his versatility creating pulsing electronica for TrickStyle and Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing and cinematic cues on Deep Fighter and Ultra Assault. However, many of these projects were low-profile and he has since been involved with the unreleased titles HP Spy Academy and Band of Bugs.

Beddow is especially respected for his forward thinking sound design. Thanks to the impact caused by his own scores, he was hired to work as the sound designer of Taito Legends and BattleBots. He also specialises in a range of technical and artistic post production work. He has recently composed several new game scores, namely Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Shogun Empires, and Ford Bold Moves Street Racing. In 2008, he recorded the epic fantasy score to Viking: Battle for Asgard with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, to much publicity and a soundtrack release.

Away from video games, Beddow has made additional and promotional music for a range of documentaries and dramas on British terrestial TV. He is also a contributor to production music releases by BMG that have been used in a range of television and film projects.
