Kevin McMullan joined the audio team at Ensemble Studios after they had already published a few titles. He took over David Rippy's role of co-composer at the company. He works alongside high school friend Stephen Rippy at the company, having first created music with him when they were in a band together. McMullan's introduction in the Age series was soft given he followed the musical evolution of the series and avoided disturbing the installed style. He is currently the audio lead on Halo Wars. His destination after Ensemble Studios closes in 2009 is unclear.
