Biography

Loud guitars are not so common in Western VGM; one might find it hard to discover artists who excel at this instrument. If you're a heavy rock enthusiast, Michelangelo D'Amico is definitely one of the names you should look for. A masterful producer from the New York area who knows how to make a guitar scream, but also how to groove with a bass and how to beat on a drum. Owning his own studio / production company named Chunky Productions since 1989 (or 1999, depending on sources), it is through it that Michelangelo was contracted by ASC Games to write music for three video games between 1996 and 1999. Since then, he doesn't seem to have worked in the industry again.

Today, D'Amico is still running Chunky Productions and since 2004, he is part of the rock band SUPERHERO as songwriter, guitarist and lead vocalist. The band is playing live around NY and the surrounding states.
