Biography
Born in St. Helens, UK, Geoff Follin has two brothers who are/have been involved in the gaming industry: Tim (younger / composer) and Mike (older / programmer). They often worked on the same games, under the same companies (Software Creations, Malibu Interactive, etc.). While Tim is more popular in VGM fan communities, it shall not be forgotten that several soundtracks were composed together with Geoff, especially during the SNES era. For "Plok", Geoff was to compose the music alone, but the game underwent a revision and Tim then had the oppotunity to contribute some tunes.
Geoff is now an elementary school teacher. He left the game industry when there wasn't enough work for both him and his brother during the Probe/Acclaim period.
- He can play various instruments.
- He traveled in Africa before joining Malibu Interactive.
- He participated in Tim's short film "Body Counting" (2004), playing a dead man.
