Biography
A prominent artist of the Ninja Tune label, Amon Tobin mixes and distort electronic, jazz, drum and bass, trip-hop, ambient and even more genres into a multi-layered unique result. He was born Amon Adonai Santos de Araujo Tobin in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and later went to live in the UK, where his musical career. His first album, "Adventures in Foam" was released under the name Cujo. In 1996, he joined the Ninja Tune label and has released four albums since then: "Bricolage" (1997), "Permutation" (1998), "Supermodified" (2000) and "Out From Out Where" (2002). He moved to Montréal, Canada, in 2002, where he finished "Out From Out Where" and still curently resides. His first and only video game soundtrack so far was composed in 2005, for the Ubisoft Montréal game "Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory".
